In HRSimplified the leave or "Time off" is automated to reduce the time spent by HR administrators to calculate the monthly accumulation of leave each employee receives.
Please note: Auto-Management of leave applies to leave balances for Employees that are categorised as Permanent, Temporary and Contract under the Employee Type. Casual Employees are excluded from the auto-calculation.
The system manages the follow leave types differently:
Annual leave
This is the yearly time off that is allocated to the Employee. The figure is a yearly total, and the system will allocate 1/12th of the annual allocation automatically to the employees Annual leave balance on the 1st day of every month.
Sick leave
The system will monitor the employees start date, and on the 3 year anniversary the system will reset the total sick days available to the allocated value supplied by the HR Administrator. if the Cycle allocation is 30 days, the system to reset the Employees slick leave available balance to 30 days every 3 years.
Study, Family and Special leave
These three leave types are all handled the same way. The total allocated to the Employee will be used to reset the Balance due to the Employee every 12 months.
Leave Updates Tab:
Available leave: The Column on the left is the total balance that the Employee has at this time. This Value is in real time, and will update accordingly when changes are made or when leave is taken or accumulated.
Leave Due: The Column on the Right is the total that the Employee is receiving for the cycle. All leave, except for Sick leave, is a 12 month cycle, where Sick leave works in a 3 year cycle. The Cycle is calculated on the Employee Start date.
