Once you have submitted your leave request to your manager, it is possible to see the status of the leave and also historical leave in a few ways.
Navigate to the Home -> My Leave menu.
At the top of the Leave screen there are a few tabs that offer the user different views of the same information.
- My Leave Applications
- My Leave Calendar
- Public Holidays
- My Department Calendar
My Leave Applications
This tab shows the Employee a list of all historical leave applications, and their current status. The Status shows the Employee what is happening with the current leave request.
- Loaded - Has been submitted but not approved yet.
- Rejected - Has been rejected by the Manager
- Approved - Has been approved by the Manager
- Processed - Has been processed by the backend successfully
- Reversal - Reversal has been submitted but not processed yet
- Reversal Approved - Reversal has been approved by the Manager
- Reversal Processed - Reversal Has been processed by the backend successfully (Leave balance has been rolled back)
- Cancelled - Leave was not taken and canceled before it started or before it was approved by the Manager.
My Leave Calendar
This Tab displays a calendar view of the Employees leave requests, the Employee can go back in history to check and see when leave was submitted.
To see the details of the leave just select the date on the calendar with dots, and then click on the leave request in the day to open a pop up to see the details.
Public Holidays
The Public holidays (Bank Holidays) are preloaded on the HRSimplified system. When submitting leave over a period that contains the public holiday the day will NOT be deducted from the leave duration. The Public holiday tab displays the list of public holidays applicable to the country your company operates in. If the days are not populated correctly, highlight this to your HR team to log a ticket with support.
My Department Calendar
The My Department Calendar shows the Employee a view of the leave that has been approved for other employees in the same Department. This allows the Employee to plan their leave better, as well a tasks that might require the assistance from another employee in the department.
