How does Training Management work

HRSimplified contains a basic Training management system for all Subscribers.


The process starts with the loading of Service Providers and Courses that need to be populated to create the Training Catalogue. Once the courses are loaded they become available in the system to allocate to Employees to manage their training needs. 


Loading of the Service Providers

Please note: Always load the Service providers first, before loading courses.

Navigate to the HR Planning menu and select Service Providers.

You can Edit a service provider or create a new service provider if they are not available. 



Loading of the Course

Once the Service provider has been created navigate to the HR Planning -> Courses menu item to add or manage existing courses that are available to Employees through your LMS agreements and systems.





Assigning Training to a Employee 

There are three ways to assign a course to a Employee.


Through Performance management

During the Review process the Manager can select the Training course suitable for the Employee to be booked on.

Directly on the Employee record

Add the training by accessing the Employee HR record and navigating to the Performance Management tab, then selecting the Employee Training Management

Add the Course by selecting the + Create button and add a new course from the course Catalogue

At this point in time you can also add a Expire date and activate the Notification to receive a email notification when the expire date is due. 



Add a bulk booking for multiple employees in the same Job Title or Position

With the HR Planning menu you can now navigate to the Capacity Planning menu, and select the Position you want to bulk select Employees. 


On the Training Required tab, select the Add option, and allocate the selected course to the Position.



Once the course has been selected (as well as the Type) the action button will allow the user to assign the course to the Employees in the Job Title/Position.


The List will ONLY contain Employees that are currently in that position. 


Detailed reporting


The reporting for Training can be found in the HR Administration menu under Reporting.
