Unpaid leave in HRSimplified follows the same process as any other type of leave type.
The Employee can start by applying for Unpaid leave on their standard Apply for leave button on Dashboard.
The Unpaid leave will then follow the existing process and go to the Manager for Approval.
The Unpaid leave will also flow through to the Leave reports in the Leave Reporting section.
Note: Unpaid leave does not have a max value or allowance in the system, so it is not available on the Employee Record or on the Employee Dashboard under the leave totals screens.
