Employees can upload their own Documents

With HRSimplified workflows it is possible that a HR Executive and Enable Employee Document uploads in the system.


This needs to be enabled on the Workflow settings screen under Workflows -> Workflow Settings



The HR Executive can also decide if a Approval needs to be activated for the uploaded documents, we suggest an Approval is always activated to ensure that documents uploaded by Employees can be verified before being allowed to update the Employee Record. 


If the Workflow is enabled the Employee will now have the ability to upload his documents in the same way the HR Administrator can do it on the Employee record without having access to the Employee file.


The Employee can access this via their Employee Self Service under Home -> My Documents and by selecting the Upload Document button.


Note: If the Workflow is not activated the Employee will not see the Upload Document switch.


The Employee will receive a Upload Modal to allow them to upload the document and select a Document type.



If the Workflow is activated, the document will be listed under the Workflows -> Approvals -> Document Approvals for approval to update the Employee Document folder.
