With the Recruitment module it is possible to create and manage the open vacancies of your business in HRSimplified.
The Process starts with the creation of the Job Description and all related data like Skills and Responsibilities.
Navigate to the HR Planner menu -> Capacity Planner.
The Capacity Planner gives the user a view of the current job titles that are being used by the business. In other words, Job titles with Employees in them. You can also create a new Job Title for future use by selecting the Manage Positions Capacity in the top right hand side.
If the new vacancy is for a current Job Title that is already available simply select the Action Menu and Click Edit.
Inspect the Job Details for each section to ensure they are correct. Tis data will automatically be pulled through to the External portal when the position is made available. (It can be updated as needed at the Vacancy level)
As you inspect the different sections of the Job description make sure to go through all the tabs at the top of the Job selection:
The Position Description along with the sub tabs details will be used to generate a Open Position advertisement on the Vacancy portal.
If the position does not exist the same process must be followed by using the Manage Position Capacity.
Once the Job title has its Job Description and other details populated the vacancy can be created.
Navigate to the Recruitment Menu -> Vacancies
This section will show all the current vacancies that have been created for the company.
To create a new Vacancy select the New Vacancy button in the top right hand corner.
Start to complete the required fields and then select the Job Category and corresponding Job Position. Once the Job Position is selected the Job description and other data will automatically be pulled form the HR Planner Capacity planning that was setup earlier.
This will include the Job Description, and al the top tabs
Complete the rest of the data fields and ensure that the Active switch as well as the Posting date is correct, to ensure that the open vacancy is displayed on the Vacancy Portal.
When Completed Save the Vacancy and you can find it in the Vacancy grid.
The open vacancy can now be seen on the Company Portal or on the Vacancy portal.
Note: The Last tab related to Job Posting URLs, is where the SEO and Analytics of the Job post is setup.
