All time booking in HRSimplified will allow the allocation of the time to a Task that is assigned to the Employee. If no task is selected by the Employee the time will still be booked but not against a project or task.

Dashboard:

When a Employee stops a running check in (So they check out) the modal that comes up allows the employee to allocate the time they have just captured on the task.

My Tasks:

The Employee can also navigate to the Project management menu and select My Tasks.

The screen will show the Employee all their assigned tasks and allow them to select a task and book time on that task.

Select Book time on the Action menu

Book the time as needed.

With this interface the time will automatically be allocated to the selected task and project.

Task Board:

With the Agile project management it is important to have a task board where Employees can work with their project tasks and interact and update tasks.

Employee can navigate to Project Management -> Task Board to find their Agile board.

The board is created with the 4 most used columns used in Agile delivery called To Do, In Progress, Blocked and Completed.

When a new task is created it will be in the To-Do column, indicating that the Employee can start with the work. When the Employee selects the Task to work on they will drag the task into the In Progress column to indicate that they are currently in progress with the task.

Every time a task is moved the system will save the status of each task.

To add a update to the task, click on actual task, this will open the task details modal:

This will give the Employee details about the task, but also allow them to add comments/updates.

Select the Second tab on the Task to add comments to allow other team members and the Project manager to see the updates.
